School Health Nursing
Working within an individual school or school system, a School Health CNS provides health care and related education to students and school staff. In addition to diagnosing and treating common illnesses and injuries, the School Health CNS monitors students for substance abuse, pregnancy, signs of physical and sexual abuse, homelessness, depression, eating disorders, STDs, and other problems.
