Women's Health Nursing
Working primarily in primary care facilities, Women's Health Nurse Practitioners provide care for women beginning in adolescence and continuing throughout the aging process. The NP may provide standard diagnosis and treatment of common illnesses, and may provide gynecological and perinatal care. They may also care for women with cancer, HIV/AIDS, disabilities, or who have substance abuse problems or are suffering from abuse.
