The School of Nursing

Our School of Nursing has a long tradition of preparing excellent nurses who are noted for their holistic approach to caring for individuals, families and communities.

Our program prepares you to launch a career in areas such as critical care, maternal-infant health, emergency care, pediatrics, geriatrics and more. Our BSN program boasts a 97 percent NCLEX pass rate. In addition, Belmont's Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) graduates have a 100 percent first attempt success on certification exams for the past four years. That is a remarkable tribute to the educational quality received at Belmont.

Being in Nashville we also have access to hospitals and clinical agencies that rank in the top 100 in the country. Our students have experiences in a wide range of inpatient and outpatient facilities and with a diverse population.

Belmont University School of Nursing is fully accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education and has an excellent reputation in the community.
