Convenient Scheduling with One Course a Month

At Brown Mackie College, you don’t need to wait for a traditional “Fall Start.” Because our students aren’t always living “traditional” lives we offer new starts each month with day or evening classes that fit your schedule. Each class lasts one month. There’s no need to divide your time and energy between coursework and exams for multiple courses. We keep the focus on one course, one subject at a time to help you succeed.

Small Classes, Personal Attention

The difference at Brown Mackie College is personal attention. We focus on individuals, not numbers. We keep class sizes small to enable you to receive the individual attention you need from 2 instructors. Our community is one that fosters interaction among students and our faculty and staff members are committed to helping you succeed.

Professional Preparation

Our programs are practical and skill based. Our goal is to prepare you to pursue an entry-level position in the field of your study. Our classes and coursework integrate real world experiences to give you the technical skills and the professional approach you’ll need to enter the workforce.

Brown Mackie College — Salina is located in a city at the center of it all. Salina is located at the crossroads of Interstates 70 and 135 in the heart of Kansas, and near the geographic center of the contiguous United States.

The 50,000 people who make this city home do so for many reasons. The cost of living here is the lowest in the state and well below the national average. Transportation costs are very affordable and quality health care is inexpensive. In contrast, the economy in Salina is a strong one. Industry sectors in this area include aviation, technology, medical services, and education.

The people of Salina are the real reason for its success. Their civic pride and welcoming spirit make this a great location for our students. Symphony and theatre performances are an option here, or students can visit the zoo and museum at the Rolling Hills Wildfire Adventure.

As a place to live and study, Salina is a place to explore your options, and Brown Mackie College — Salina offers the opportunities to do it.
