D'Youville College is a private, co-educational, liberal arts and professional college located in residential Buffalo, New York, delivering skills, confidence, leadership and a global view in a caring environment. Founded in 1908 by the Grey Nuns, D'Youville College has long been considered a leader among colleges for its progressive and comprehensive programs. With a student population of approximately 3000, D'Youville offers its students the diversity and resources of a much larger college and the attention and accessibility that is usually attributed to a small college. Our campus offers students comprehensive facilities, modern computer labs and state-of-the-art medical labs. Our teaching faculty are the core of what makes D'Youville College a special place.
The Business program provides a well-rounded business education to prepare students for future job placement. The faculty have years of business experience outside the classroom so the courses go beyond academic theories and push students to acquire knowledge in a way that is useful in practical business settings. The faculty to student ratio in our program is low and full time faculty members teach majority of the courses. The professors will know you by name and will be available for assistance as you pursue your degree.
D'Youville College has been educating nurses since 1942. All of your classes, labs and seminars will be taught by talented, dedicated faculty members who are at the forefront of their fields -- never by teacher aides or assistants. We take your education very seriously, and we're committed to educating you for life.
Psychology is one of the most popular majors in the country. All psychology programs provide students with a breadth of knowledge in the theories, research and practice associated with human development, social behavior, physiological processes and functioning, and clinical disorders. However, D'Youville's Psychology Plus program actively engages students in a process of personal and professional exploration that provides the foundation for reaching individual career goals.
