Felician College

Founded by the Felician sisters in 1942, Felician College is committed to putting students first. We want you to succeed here at the College, in your career and in your personal life. We provide a solid and supportive academic experience that is designed to help you achieve this success.

At Felician College, when we say "students first" - we mean it! This is evident in all that we do. Personal attention is our hallmark and something you will experience every day, whether it is in the classroom, meeting with your advisor, or talking with professors after class. At Felician, your professors will not only know your name but they will also know and care about you as a person, and be there to guide and support you every step of the way. Our classes are small, so you will really get to know your faculty and classmates and build a sense of community.

Our commitment to you is deeply rooted in our Catholic/Franciscan spirit, which embodies our love of learning, commitment to service and respect for all creation. As a co-educational liberal arts institution, we offer strong academic and student development programs designed to bring you to your highest potential and prepare you to meet the challenges of the new century with an informed mind and understanding heart.

Accredited by the Middle States Association of Colleges, Felician offers quality academic programs and a tradition of excellence in preparing students for success. The college has two campuses, one in Lodi, NJ and one in Rutherford, NJ. These campuses are just three miles apart and only 12 miles from New York City.

The Department of Graduate Nursing

For over 60 years, Felician College has been nurturing the success of our students. At the heart of the success is our solid academic foundation, our quality academic programs and our outstanding faculty. Respected as one of the leading nursing programs in New Jersey, the Division of Nursing is accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE) and has been proudly educating professional nurses for over 40 years.

The Division of Nursing and Health Management is a shining example of our quality programs and academic excellence. The faculty are among the most respected in the state. Many are doctorally prepared and hold national certification in their area of specialization and practice. Students have a unique opportunity to work side by side with these distinguished nursing community leaders.

Reflective of the guiding spirit of St. Francis, Felician is committed not only to preparing its nursing students with the knowledge and skills needed to be successful, but also fostering values of personal and professional integrity, caring and service. From this foundation has emerged an educational environment renowned for its personalized attention to students.
