BSN ProgramsBack to topThe Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) programs at TAMU-CC are designed to prepare professional nurses who are well-grounded in the arts, sciences and humanities. These courses provide a reservoir of knowledge from which to draw in making critical clinical decisions in the roles of care provider or coordinator. Programs offered are the following:
MSN ProgramsBack to topThe Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) degree program enhances and expands the clinical competence of baccalaureate nurses. The focus of the program is to prepare nurses for advanced practice roles. Emphasis is placed on facilitating health care delivery within a multi-cultural framework. The graduate nursing curriculum includes five core courses and specific courses related to the role specialization. The variety of learning opportunities and the flexibility of options provided by the curriculum will accommodate the diverse clinical and functional interests of students who enroll in the program. Health Sciences ProgramBack to topThe BS in Health Sciences provides individuals with technical licenses or certification in an allied health field with the opportunity to broaden their base of knowledge and augment their technical skills. Dental hygienists, emergency medical technicians, radiologic technologists, respiratory therapists and others have the avenue to increase their value as a member of the health care team in a rapidly changing medical environment which requires an advanced level of practitioner in physician support roles.
