Legal Nurse Consultant majors receive intensive course work in major substantive and procedural areas of the law that affect the medical profession. Students will also complete courses designed for this particular profession including two courses in Legal Nurse Consulting and a supervised externship. Registered nurses who are looking for an avenue into this expanding field can complete this certificate in only six months.

Admissions requirements include having an RN license and at least an associate degree with 28 credits of general studies courses from an accredited institution prior to admission.
