Nursing - Associate's
The associate's degree program in nursing provides students with
general principles and knowledge in the biological and behavioral
sciences, as well as the science of nursing. This knowledge forms
the basis for utilizing the nursing process in a professional
practice. Integration of theory into clinical practice is an
important aspect of professional nursing education.
Practical Nursing - Certificate
The Certificate in Practical Nursing balances classroom
instruction with clinical experience. Students receive a solid
foundation in the areas of medical-surgical nursing, pediatrics,
obstetrics, geriatrics, and pharmacology. Graduates of this
program are qualified to pursue LPN State Board licensure.
