National University

National University is the second-largest, accredited, private, nonprofit institution of higher learning in California with the third largest graduate program in the country. Founded in 1971, National consists of five schools and one college, including the Schools of Business and Management; Education; Engineering and Technology; Health and Human Services; and Media and Communications; and the College of Letters and Sciences.

Accreditation

Since 1977, National University has been accredited by the Accrediting Commission for Senior Colleges and Universities of the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC). The University is also approved by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE).

School of Health and Human Services

The National University School of Health and Human Services was formed in 2005 to address the growing need for trained health care professionals in California and throughout the country. As the shortage of nursing and health care professionals continues to expand, National University will provide the training and degree programs to prepare students for careers in these rewarding fields.

Associate's of Health Sciences in Pre-Nursing

The Associate of Science in Health Science and Pre-Nursing degree is designed to give students a solid foundation for continuing intellectual growth and further professional studies leading to a career in nursing or other health science-related fields.
