Practical Nursing - Diploma

The objective of the practical nursing program is to prepare students with the knowledge, technical skills and work habits required for an entry-level position as a practical nurse. Students are trained to give direct care to clients under the supervision of a physician or registered nurse.

Nursing responsibilities may include direct patient care, the administration of medication and/or the application of procedures and treatments. The length of the program for day students is 50 weeks. All students must complete the program with 92 credit hours.
