The HCSM program focuses on knowledge and skills needed to succeed in a variety of nursing leadership positions in health care organizations.
The HCSM program includes content in nursing administration, management, leadership, finance, quality improvement, health promotion, disease prevention/management, integrated delivery systems, managed care strategies and workforce management.
The HCSM curriculum adheres to the standards identified by the American Association of Colleges of Nursing, the American Organization of Nurse Executives, and the Standards of Practice for Case Managers (published by the Case Management Society of America).
Graduates will be prepared to sit for the American Nurses Association Certification Exam in Nursing Administration Advanced and/or the Commission for Case Manager Certification Exam.

RN to MSN (Bridge Program for RNs with a Non-Nursing Bachelor's Degree) If you are an RN who is in possession of a non-Nursing Bachelor's degree, you may still be admitted to Loyola's MSN program without first obtaining a BSN degree. To be admitted to the MSN program, you must complete Loyola's MSN Bridge/Blend (Bridge to Leadership Education for Nurses at a Distance) program. The RN to MSN Bridge program is one-semester long; this very unique 6-credit bridge program covers important themes including Leadership, Health Promotion, Community, and Professional Development.
