Excelsior College* - Advance your career with the world's largest
educator of nurses at a distance!
Since 1973, the Excelsior College School of Nursing has graduated
more than 37,000 nursing students. Our NLNAC-accredited program
has helped nurses with significant health care experience, such
as LPNs become RNs, associate degree RNs become nurse managers,
and experienced RNs become nurse educators and informaticists.
They move up because of Excelsior's academic quality. Designated
as an NLN Center of Excellence in Nursing Education for
2008-2011, one of only 13 centers in the nation, Excelsior
College was honored with the 2006 and 2007 Best School Award from
the American Assembly for Men in Nursing. In addition, the School
of Nursing is one of only two distance education colleges ever to
have received a charter from Sigma Theta Tau International, Honor
Society of Nursing. More important, our alumni consistently earn
praise from employers and promotion into management.
Nursing students enjoy a great deal of flexibility by earning
their degree through Excelsior College. Our distance programs
enable you to study whenever and wherever its convenient for you,
so you can balance work, family and school. You earn credit from
different sources: for credit examinations, online courses and
clinical requirements in your home community.
At Excelsior College, you earn a respected degree from an
accredited institution – at a pace that makes sense for
you.
