Nebraska Methodist College has a long and distinguished tradition of providing quality, student-focused education. In online programs, professional RN's gain the knowledge and experience needed to become leaders who will meet the needs of increasing diverse communities in an ever-changing health care arena.

Master of Science in Nursing

The 39-credit hour program provides a solid foundation of nursing core concepts, advanced clinical concepts and advanced role preparation in leadership or education. Full-time and part-time options are available. Two, three-day summer intensive experiences allow students to meet face-to-face, experience the campus atmosphere and build on the educational process.

Online - classes enroll in the Spring semester each year.

Nurse Executive Track:

Advanced role courses will include content in the areas of finance, human resources, management/leadership, organizational behavior, strategic planning, legal and ethical issues and economics.

Education Track:

Advanced role courses will include content in the areas of program and curriculum development, classroom and clinical strategies, evaluation techniques and critical and analytical thinking skills.

Post-Master's Certificate in Nursing Education

Online - classes enroll in the Summer term.

As a professional nurse with a master's degree you have a level of professional knowledge that is invaluable in nursing education. Completion of this one-year, online certificate (13 credit hours) will provide the formal preparation and skills necessary to teach successfully in academic settings.
