A career for life begins at Felician College. The baccalaureate degree in nursing (BSN) program prepares 21st century professional nurses to plan, direct and manage nursing care for clients in all health care and community based settings.

Felician College's BSN program offers many advantages such as a "STUDENTS FIRST" philosophy, personalized attention and advisement, cutting edge curriculum and expert faculty, clinical experiences in magnet hospitals, a focus on genetics, nutrition and pharmacolotherapy, use of a state-of-the-art, fully equipped nursing resource center to develop technical skills, and an innovative clinical residency program.

RN to BSN Upper Division Programs (Fast-Track)

The RN to BSN Upper Division program is a curriculum designed for registered nurses based on principles of adult learning theory. The program expands the ability to provide health care for culturally diverse populations and gives opportunities for multifaceted nursing experiences. Leadership development, health appraisal, community and family health, research, ethics, and nursing management are the foci of the program. A Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree is awarded after successful completion of the program.

The Fast-Track RN/BSN program

  • Duration: 19 months (including a total of 6 weeks with no classes). Students will complete 6 credits each session. Sessions vary in length from 7 - 10 weeks.
  • When: 1 full day each week. The class times will vary slightly from session to session. Students must be available from 8:00 am - 6:30 pm.
  • Felician College is pleased to offer "Fast-Track BSN" students a reduced "cohort-based" tuition that is significantly reduced from regular undergraduate tuition
  • Cohort-style Learning: This program is designed so that students move from session to session in a group. In this "cohort-style" of learning, all students in the group take the same courses at the same time.
  • This successful program is also offered off-site at East Orange General Hospital, East Orange, NJ, and Monmouth Medical Center, Long Branch, NJ.

School Nurse/Teacher of Health Education - Post Bachelor's Certificate

The School Nurse/Teacher of Health Education Certificate program prepares registered nurses who have a baccalaureate degree to provide nursing service and health education to children and adolescents in the K-12 school setting. The program is approved by the State of New Jersey Department of Education.
