West Coast Ultrasound Institute
At West Coast Ultrasound Institute (WCUI), our motto is "Knowledge Builds Careers." We are a private postsecondary vocational technical institute dedicated to one purpose: to allow each student to reap the rewards of education and achieve his or her potential in the fast-growing field of nursing. WCUI has designed specialized programs for all qualified students to enhance their knowledge and develop skills enabling them to pass the LVN/LPN NCLEX examinations.
Owner-Operated
WCUI is owned and operated by board-certified radiologists, cardiologists and technologists who are employed in the medical field. Dr. Neville Smith, M.D., a board-certified radiologist opened WCUI in 1998 with Myra Chason, BS, BSN, RDMS, a well-known instructor of diagnostic medical sonography.
Hands-On Training
We offer a well-balanced curriculum, divided between classroom, laboratory and supervised clinical training, all taught in a supportive educational environment by a highly qualified staff of professionals. The learning experience developed at WCUI includes both didactic instruction as well as actual hands-on clinical experience provided at several professional locations.
Vocational Nursing - Diploma
