Certificate - Nursing Assistant

Our nursing assistant program is a good fit for individuals who are interested in ensuring the health, comfort and safety of patients. Training includes patient care, anatomy, physiology, medical ethics, equipment, safety and emergency procedures such as CPR. Upon graduation, students will receive a certificate of completion and will be prepared to sit for the National Nurse Aid Assessment Program Exam. This program is approved by the State Board of Nursing.

Nursing assistants are in high demand and our seven-week, career-focused program prepares students to play a critical role in hospitals, rehabilitation centers and assisted-living facilities. Through classes and a hands-on clinical externship, students learn to respond to emergencies and provide day-to-day routine care.
