Keiser University's Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing is designed for registered nurses. This program emphasizes critical thinking, leadership, management, research, physical assessment and health promotion across a variety of community-based health care settings. The curriculum provides the RN with a better understanding of the cultural, political, economic and social issues that affect patients and influence health care delivery. Special emphasis will be given to the allocation and management of physical, fiscal and human resources. Opportunities for the RN to specialize will be provided in the form of various nursing, business and criminal justice electives. All coursework is offered online, one course per month. Clinical practicums will be performed in community settings where students will be paired with an approved professional nursing preceptor.
