Nursing Assistant

The Nursing Assistant program prepares the student to work as a nursing assistant in a variety of public and private health institutions. Taking into consideration the major changes in the health sector and the obvious lack of qualified personnel, this domain offers numerous job opportunities both full-time and part-time.

All indicators confirm that this sector will continue to grow due to the aging population, to a growing awareness of health, to ambulatory changes and the development of the private sector. Once the program is completed, a student can also continue on to a college-level Diploma program in nursing techniques, without duplicating the material learned.

This program is only available in French.

Nursing Assistant (English)

This program prepares the student to work as a nursing assistant in a variety of public and private health institutions. On the other hand, once the DEP is acquired, a student can continue on to a college level diploma program in Nursing Techniques, which has been developed within the harmonization project whose goal is to facilitate the transfer from one program to another or from one level of education to another without duplicating the material learned.
