Dover Business College is a nationally-accredited, private college with over 50 years of teaching excellence and of successfully preparing students for careers in health care, business and information technology. Dover Business College offers the majority of academic programs in day and evening sessions. Each campus has its own special student-centered learning environment. Dover Campus

The campus, which is conveniently located in the center of town near the train station, is easily accessible from Interstate 80, Routes 46 and 10, CR- 656, and by public transportation. The buildings contain lecture classrooms, computer labs housing the most current and widely used equipment and software, and a student lounge. Fully equipped, state-of-the-art nursing, operating room and medical laboratories also are offered. There are many restaurants, stores and services available within easy walking distance of the campus. Parking is available on the street and in various public lots near the College.

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Diploma

The licensed practical nurse program provides students with the knowledge and clinical skills necessary to enter the health care field as a licensed practical nurse in a variety of settings including hospitals, physician's offices, clinics, dental surgeons, nursing homes, assisted living facilities, rehabilitation centers, urgent care or with patients in private home settings. Graduates are eligible to sit for the NCLEX-PN licensure examination.

Patient Care Technician - Diploma

The patient care technician program provides students with the knowledge and clinical skills necessary to enter the health care field as patient care technicians in various hospital settings. As allied health professionals, patient care technicians are members of the health care team, providing care to patients in a variety of settings. These include specialty departments of hospitals, such as emergency rooms (ER), intensive care units (ICU) and outpatient settings.

Surgical Processing Technician - Diploma

The Surgical Processing Technician Program provides students with the knowledge and skills needed to receive and process supplies and equipment from operating rooms and nursing units throughout the hospital. The training involves decontamination, sterilization, and preparation and assembling of instruments for distribution. Proper patient treatment is essential, and thus these processes take place clean environments in the designated Central Supply/Sterile Processing departments of hospitals.

Graduates of the program are eligible to sit for the Certified Registered Service Technician examination, as the program meets the requirements of the International Association of Healthcare Central Service Materiel Management (IAHCSMM).
