Registered Nursing - Associate's
Apollo College's comprehensive nursing career training not only includes our entry-level Practical Nursing program but also the more advanced instruction and hands-on experience of our Associate Degree Nursing program. The mission of the program is to develop highly qualified, knowledgeable, skill-oriented graduates with the well-rounded abilities and professional manner to become exceptional nurses. Upon graduation, nursing students are eligible to take the state licensing exam to become a Registered* Nurse.
Our program is built on a base of general education courses designed to give nursing students critical thinking and technical skills as well as perspectives and insights from the humanities and social sciences. This helps graduates make sound decisions, work efficiently, function as integral members of a medical team, and serve as responsible health care professionals.
* Upon graduation from the Apollo College Associate Degree Program in Nursing students are eligible to sit for the state licensing exam which is required to achieve the Registered Nurse status. Licensure and certification to practice are the exclusive responsibility of the applicable State Board of Nursing.
