The mission of the College of Saint Elizabeth is to be a
community of learning in the Catholic liberal arts tradition for
students of diverse ages, backgrounds and cultures.

This program provides a curriculum which enables the registered
nurse with an associate degree or diploma to achieve a
baccalaureate degree – a Bachelor of Science in Nursing in
the liberal arts tradition.
The program is designed to enable students to study on a
part-time basis. Courses are offered in both day and evening
hours.

The MS in Health Care Management has been designed for health
care administrators, managers, providers or other health related
professionals who wish to increase their knowledge and expertise
in the specific application of health management. Applicants who
have not previously studied health care management are welcome
and will find the flexibility of the program especially
attractive.
The program features an integrated curriculum combining a
multidisciplinary core, advanced study in heath care management
and an elective component. The program's flexibility encourages
students to choose from among relevant health care management
electives and other complementary graduate offerings.
Graduates of this program will find diverse job opportunities
with a variety of health organizations, such as hospitals,
pharmaceutical organizations, home health agencies, health
insurance companies, life-care facilities, managed care
organizations, medical group practices and mental health
agencies.

The M.S. in Nursing (M.S.N.) program at the College of Saint
Elizabeth (CSE) is a 37-credit, cohort-based program which was
developed in response to the growing need for nurses with
advanced degrees who can assume leadership positions in education
and practice. The program provides nurses with the opportunity to
develop the skills, confidence and knowledge necessary to
practice as:
- Faculty in schools and colleges of nursing
- Educators in health care organizations
- Patient educators or community educators

Unique elements of this program:
- The program features a multidisciplinary core with advanced
study in nursing education and two clinical practicum courses.
- The cohort model facilitates learning and interaction with
classmates and highly experienced faculty. Two cohorts are
currently offered: the cohort at the CSE main campus meets one
day per week on alternating Fridays and Saturdays, and the
Trinitas/UCC cohort meets one evening per week.
- The program can be completed in two years of full-time study
or three years of part-time study.
- Classroom and blended on-line assignments combine
"face-to-face" instruction with distance learning, allowing for
flexibility and convenience.
- The program prepares nurses for the NLN Nurse Educator
National Certification Exam and provides the foundation for
doctoral study.
