The four-year Bachelor of Science degree (BSN) prepares the student as a generalist for entry level practice and for the State Board NCLEX-RN Examination. The undergraduate program has a strong liberal arts foundation that is correlated with the professional nursing courses. Students begin their clinical courses in the sophomore year and complete a variety of clinical experiences prior to graduation. Five Year Combined BSN/MSBack to topThis program enables students to complete both the BSN and master's with a choice of clinical focus in a combined choice of study. This program is shorter in length than the two programs of study if pursued separately. This program further allows the students at the master's level to customize their clinical focus and provides them flexibility in pursuing their own career goals. This program lets you pay undergraduate tuition for the graduate curriculum. This program is another direct admission program meaning you do not have to re-apply to the master's or advanced level by maintaining an overall GPA average of 3.0. RN-to-BSN (2yr) or RN-to- BSN/MS (3yr)Back to topA special curriculum designed for licensed RNs wishing to complete their BSN capitalizes on prior knowledge and experience. BSN's are frequently sought for positions in home health care, public health, or as head nurses or nursing supervisors. Registered nurses enrolled in the BSN program have the option of completing three of four major courses via distance learning. RNs that enter this program receive a 50 percent tuition discount for the bachelor's portion of the program.
